Travel Plan To Beijing

I already decided where to go for my yearly holiday. From last year, I already make a promise to myself that I will take a long holiday minimum once in a year, to give times for my body and my soul to relax and away from routine work. As an IT specialist, I spent almost 10 hours in front of my computer, so most of the times, I also doing research using internet to decide where to go. I have 2 websites that I trusted most to plan my vacation. One is lonelyplanet and the other is hotelscombined.

In lonelyplanet, I can get information about where to go, what are the must-visit places and how to get there. While in hotelscombined, I can search a good and affordable hotel to stay during my visit. These websites provides very top quality information and of course, they give me a lot of options which one is attractive for me. Like this year, I am planning to go to Beijing, China. Definitely place-must-visits are Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Summer Palace. Great wall as one of the wonder in the world is my main destination. I will choose Badaling section to visit, because from my research, this section is the most impressive part of Great Wall that was built in the 18th year of the Ming Hong Zhi reign (around 1505) with the height 7.8 – 8.4 meters from rectangular slab of granite stones.

And for the place to stay, I have two options, Schengen International Hotel Beijing that located near to airport because my flight for back to Kuala Lumpur will be a morning flight, or Sha Tan Business Hotel Beijing that located in the center of Beijing so it will easy for me to getting around in Beijing. If the option is yours; which one that you recommend? Or maybe you have experience in these hotels; your comments will be very helpful. I cannot wait for this trip; it will be very interesting and nice trip.

Many people that come to Malaysia want to see the Petronas Twin Tower, especially the SkyBridge. We have to queue early in the morning to get the ticket. Its FREE to get the ticket, but its a looonngggg queue..:)

Today, we wake up in the worning, want to went to Sri Petaling, to eat Dim Sum We go by LRT, from PWTC, stop at Bukit Jalil Station.

Cottesloe Beach Perth ( HDR Image Technique )

We were went to Cottesloe Beach that day. Think beach, think Norfolk Island pines, think Western Suburbs lifestyle - that’s Cottesloe. Just 15 minutes west of Perth, Western Australia, Cottesloe is internationally famous for its superb beach and terraced lawns overlooking the Indian Ocean. When you go to Perth, don’t forget to visit this Suburb Cottesloe. So beautiful beach, white sand, very blue the water.

This time, i tried HDR Technique. Those was the result when i used HDR Technique from Photomatix Pro. What is HDR stand for? High Dynamic Range thats what HDR stand for. As you know that maybe our picture lack of exposure or to much exposure, what we can do with our image is to combine 3 exposure of our picture to one HDR Image.

Previously the term is HDRI. High Dynamic Range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of exposures (the range of values between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows.
“HDR” is now popularly used to refer to the process of tone mapping together with bracketed exposures of normal digital images, giving the end result a high, often exaggerated dynamic range.

I used Photomatix Pro Software this time to create my first HDR Image. Photomatix Pro is a stand-alone program that runs on Mac OS X and Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista.

So how it looks like the original picture?

Then i just combine those 3 images into Photomatxi Pro. Thats is, just as simple as it is.
